  2. Ive heard of that sayin from my sage old Auntie.. God rest her soul. Its true that it doesnt do ne good to worry. And you know what Jesus said about it in Matthew..

“Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not…And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t He more surely care for you? You have so little faith. So don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and He will give you all you need from day to day if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today…” (Amen to that!) 🙂

  3. Never heard that one before, but it’s a good one. I will make a note of that and remember it when worries start to appear.
    Thanks xxx

  7. Yes….my own rocking chair seems to be wanting to stand in the middle of the railway line waiting for that oncoming express.

      1. To many are experiencing this of late what with one thing and another. I can at least ‘sometimes’ find the strength to pull myself across the junction and watch the express go by.

        His bowls..
        His quilt to sleep on
        His brush
Three towels..one for feet and two for drying off after getting wet or beach
His dried food, his rice and his canned food.
3 x 2 litre bottles of water …I give him filtered water at home as our water is rubbish.
        Blanket for car…

        It keeps you going
        But gets you nowhere”
