Daughter 2 and I were sitting in church this morning. The sermon was about ‘who we are’ and started with a video clip of ‘Gladiator’ (well, it made sense at the time!)
The preacher said he thought maybe the blood and guts of the film meant it wasn’t the most appropriate clip for a Mothering Sunday service … Daughter and I turned to each other and said simultaneously ‘Oh – I don’t know about that!’
