ABOUT THIS BLOG

This blog began as a team effort by our family, but with the death of my father Philip it has changed character, although I will continue to post from his writings from time to time.

We are all excited about God, learning from Him continually and wanting to share our discoveries with others.

I hope you find it interesting and thought-provoking.

I am a deacon in the Church of England but belonged to various other churches and was a mission partner in Nigeria before being ordained in my 40s.  We have 4 adult children and four grandchildren at the moment.  I’m interested in the diaconate, relevant ways of doing mission, theology, different cultures and of course the family. At present I’m working on a research degree about interconfessional mission, and I love poetry, writing and crosswords.
